Appointment & Booking

Shining Bright Terms and Conditions

We greatly appreciate your support of our business and the following terms and conditions will help us to:

provide the utmost professional service to you at every appointment, ensure your appointment is relaxing and enjoyable, protect our loyal clients’ appointments, and protect our business from loss of trading.

By phone with a credit card,
By arrangement to direct debit to our account, or
By paying cash in the salon.
We regret that if you are unable to pay a deposit, we will not be able to make an appointment for you.
All deposits are non-refundable.

Shining Bright requires a pre-paid booking deposit of $50 for all hair service bookings.

The deposit amount is deducted from the total cost of your hair service.

Cancellations

Please provide at least 24 hours notice if you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment. This gives us ample time to schedule another client.

If a client cancels or changes a booking within 24hrs of the booking time, the deposit will be forfeited and they will need to pay another deposit if you require another booking.

Broken Appointment (‘No Shows’):

Appointments are made by allocating a specific amount of time required to deliver the service a client requests.

In the event of a client not attending their appointment, or failing to give us a minimum of 24 hours notice that they cannot attend, the booking fee will be forfeited to cover the loss of time and income allocated to their appointment. If a client has previously broken an appointment, to make further appointments they will need to pay another booking deposit to secure future appointments.

If a client continually fails to attend appointments, we may refuse a future booking.

Appointment

All clients will receive a confirmation SMS 3 days prior to their appointment.We require confirmation of your attendance not less than 24 hours

prior to your appointment. Confirmation to the SMS message is an automated system and can only receive “YES” or “NO” responses. It does not take personal messages.

If we do not receive confirmation with 24 hours notice, the appointment will be cancelled.

Shining Bright reserves the right to cancel any unconfirmed appointments.

Please plan to arrive 10 minutes prior to your reserved appointment time to allow time for checking in, filling out required history forms and getting settled.

Payment options:

  • All transactions at Shining Bright are processed in Australian dollars.
  • Payment for hair services and products is required at the time of purchase.
  • Shining Bright does not offer a running account system.
  • We are happy to accept Direct Debit cards, Mastercard, Visa, Cash and Shining Bright Gift Vouchers.
  • We do not accept personal cheques.

Late Arrivals

  • In order to remain on schedule for all our clients and to ensure you receive the full service you have booked in for, we ask that you arrive on time.
  • If you are running significantly late for your appointment, please let us know – we will do everything we can to accommodate you.
  • Please keep in mind that we may have to reschedule your appointment, or may not have time to complete the whole service, in which case you will need to make another booking.
  • The regular service price will apply.

All prices include GST.
All prices are subject to variation without notice.

Gift Vouchers and Reward Cards

Gift vouchers or reward cards will be honoured prior to the expiry date. Once expired all funds are forfeited and cannot be reimbursed.

Gift vouchers must be physically presented at the time of payment and transactions cannot be altered once completed.

If there is a balance on your gift voucher, then this balance can be applied to future purchases. No cash will be given for any remaining balance.

It is your responsibility as a client to protect gift vouchers and reward card(s) and/or proof of service(s).

Any lost or stolen reward cards cannot be replaced, or reimbursed.

Any reward cards, promotional or special offer card(s) have no cash value and are not reimbursable.

Special Offers and Promotions (“Offer/s”)

Any offer is independent of any other offer and is not valid in conjunction with any other offer.

Offers and promotions apply to one person and one service per visit and cannot be accumulated.

Certain products and services are exempt from discounts and promotions such as treatments, Olaplex, colour corrections, colour reductions, bridal hair and trials.

Any product offered in conjunction with any offer is offered solely at the salon’s discretion and is non-negotiable.

Offers may apply to certain services only. We will attempt to publicise such information, but cannot be held responsible for any error in doing so.

Shining Bright reserves the right to change, amend or withdraw any offer, or promotions at any time without prior notice and at their discretion.

Salon Environment

Children

We are happy for your child/children to come along to your appointment, however, we work with products containing chemicals, sharp tools and very hot equipment. Your child’s safety is important to us, so to ensure their safety, we ask that children under 12 years old, who are not receiving a service, be supervised at all times and remain seated on the front sofa.

Personal Belongings

Even though we take as much care as possible, please note that personal items are the responsibility of the client.

Our Guarantee

Absolutely fall in love with your colour or get your money back.

Conditions are that you let us know with in 7 days if your unsatisfied with your colour and allow us to redo it free of charge

General Information

Shining Bright reserves the right to change, amend or withdraw these terms and conditions, at any time, without prior notice and at their discretion.

You should revisit this informational page or ask in-salon should you require more information.

PRIVACY AND CONFIDENTIALITY

Shining Bright diligently monitors the privacy and confidentiality of personal information and ensures compliance to all relevant legislative and moral requirements by instilling discipline in all aspects of our business.

Our objective is to protect and maintain the privacy, and security of your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988.

The Privacy Act contains a set of standards for the handling of your personal information known as the National Privacy Principles (NPPs). Personal information collected by Shining Bright generally comprises name, address, contact details and certain financial information.

The National Privacy Principles requires Shining Bright not to store personal information longer than necessary.

We are committed to the privacy and protection of your information.

By paying the amount below, you agree that you have read and understood the above terms and conditions and that you acknowledge agree to our Refund Policy and Cancellation Policy.
